Graphics

When the mold is it the final stages of production, attention is given to the graphics for each of the individual teams. In order to do this a template sheet has to be created in true scale dipicting all of the sponsor logos and individual colors for each boat. This is accomplished through the use of many photographs and sketches. To insure proper color match, all of the colors used in the process are obtained from the color chips that were used in the building of the actual boats.

Once the sheet is completed it has to be submitted to the individual team for final approval. Licensing for all of the logos and sponsors are obtained at this time. Sometimes everything will be correct but the sponsor may want to use a differrent logo, the owner may want to change a certain color or the team has changed drivers. In having to reach a mutual agreament between the owner(s), sponsors and drivers it can some times become a lengthy process.
